Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Tanner Roark lead Blue Jays to win over Tigers

DUNEDIN, Fla. — Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 3-for-3 with four runs batted in and starter Tanner Roark pitched three scoreless innings as the Toronto Blue Jays beat the Detroit Tigers 10-6 in pre-season action on Thursday.

Guerrero’s three-run homer capped a four-run first inning for the Blue Jays (6-4-1) against Detroit starter Michael Fulmer, who gave up seven runs in two innings

New Blue Jays outfielder George Springer led off the bottom of the first with a home run.

Alejandro Kirk and Randal Grichuk also had homers for Toronto.
