Vancouver Whitecaps hire Ricardo Clark as assistant coach
VANCOUVER — The Vancouver Whitecaps have added American midfielder Ricardo Clark to their coaching ranks.
The ‘Caps announced Thursday that the former Houston Dynamo player has been hired as an assistant coach with the first team.
Clark previously coached in Dynamo’s academy and with the U.S. U-20 team.
The 38-year-old native of Atlanta played for 17 years, winning MLS Cups with Houston in 2006 and 2007, and being named an MLS all-star four times.
