NANAIMO — The Clippers preseason schedule is out with 16 games over a two month span.

From Oct. 2 to Nov. 14 the club will play 14 games against the Victoria Grizzlies, Alberni Valley Bulldogs, and Cowichan Valley Capitals. The games will count towards standings for an Island Cup which will conclude in late November.

Head coach Darren Naylor said getting the necessary COVID-19 protocols in place took some time to accomplish.

“There’s guidelines there now for us to follow so we can get back to playing games. Everybody in the organization is extremely happy about it.”

Two late September games slated for Sept. 25 and 26 in Victoria will serve as a tune up for the exhibition season.
