NANAIMO — The Clippers have added an offensive defenseman in a very rare loan deal with Buffalo of the OJHL.

2002 born defenseman Michael Craig will come to Nanaimo after recording four goals and 15 assists in 51 games with the Jr. Sabres last season.

Buffalo won’t be able to participate in the upcoming OJHL season because of border restrictions which made the St. Catharines, Ontario native available.

Clippers head coach Darren Naylor sees the Craig as a strong skater who can be a scoring threat from the blueline.
