Woman arrested following road rage, erratic behaviour through Nanaimo
NANAIMO — A 37-year-old woman was arrested following a string of road rage incidents through the city on Saturday, Aug. 1.
The torrent of activity began around 5:00 p.m. when the woman is alleged to have stopped in the slow lane of the Nanaimo Parkway and assaulted another driver.
The assault left numerous cuts and bruises to the female driver’s hands and head.
Further calls to 9-1-1 resulted shortly after when a vehicle, matching the description of the first incident, was said to have nearly hit a pedestrian at the intersection of Calder Rd. and Jingle Pot Rd.
