Clippers shut down Vees in impressive 4-1 win

PENTICTON – A complete 60 minute game describes the Clippers road victory over the Vees on Saturday.

The Clippers scored a goal in the first period, another in the second, and two in the third en route to a 4-1 win.

Travis Walton scored two shorthanded goals, Liam Ryan tallied at even strength, and Ethan Scardina connected on the power play to provide Nanaimo’s offense.

A late shorthanded goal by the Vees Lukas Sillinger was the only blemish on first star Jordan Naylor’s record.
