Clippers beat Rivermen 2-1 for seventh straight win
LANGLEY – The Clippers continued their winning ways with a 2-1 win over the Rivermen on Oct. 13.
It was Nanaimo’s seventh straight win and their third in less than 72 hours on the road.
Langley’s Brendan Budy opened the scoring with a power play goal in the first period and there was no more scoring until the third.
Nanaimo ran into penalty trouble in the second period, with a five on three against for a minute and 20 seconds, and then they were shorthanded again immediately after.
