NANAIMO — Bargain hunters will be out in full force at the third annual Nanaimo Recycles Car Trunk Sale.
150 pre-booked spaces in the parking lot of the Country Club Centre are set aside on Saturday, July 27 to sell unwanted household items.
The City of Nanaimo sponsored event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in an effort to prevent usable goods from ending up in the landfill.
No retail booths are permitted and only new items made from recycled materials can be sold at the free event.
