Classic cars galore in downtown Qualicum for storied Father’s Day event

QUALICUM BEACH — Hundreds classic cars and thousands of people will invade downtown Qualicum Beach for the premiere Father’s Day event.

The 26^th annual Seaside Cruizers Father’s Day Show n’ Shine takes over downtown Qualicum on Sunday, June 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

More than 500 classic cars, primarily from Vancouver Island and elsewhere in the province, will be on display in downtown Qualicum. The area will be closed off to traffic.

Several food trucks will be on hand for the free family friendly event.

Proceeds from the event backs dozens of non-profit organizations in the Parksville-Qualicum area.
