Clippers add new recruit Brandon Buhr

NANAIMO — The Clippers have committed to 2002 born forward Brandon Buhr for the upcoming season.

Buhr was impressive last year at Nanaimo’s main camp and he showed well in the BCHL preseason.

Ultimately he went back to the BCMML to play the 18-19 campaign with Vancouver North West Hawks.

Buhr had 43 points in 39 games.

He’s excited to get his Junior A career started with hopes of earning an NCAA Division 1 commitment down the road.

The 16-year-old says he tries to pattern his game after Jamie Benn, a former BCHLer who plays for the Dallas Stars.
