MLA Michelle Stilwell poised to run for re-election

PARKSVILLE – Michelle Stilwell will be making another run at the legislature.

The Liberal mla has been acclaimed as the candidate for Parksville-Qualicum for the election next year.

“I have been enormously honoured to represent my constituents in the legislature,” said Stilwell. “I am thrilled to be the candidate again for the 2017 election and I’m ready to work hard with my team to earn the continued support of the people of Parksville-Qualicum.”

Stilwell was first elected in 2013 and has served as the Minister of Social Development and Social Innovation since 2015.

“We have a clear vision for the future of British Columbia under the leadership of Premier Christy Clark,” said Stilwell. Great progress has been made to put British Columbians first and my hope is that the people of Parksville-Qualicum will give us the opportunity to continue creating the best possible province for our children and grandchildren.”
