One flown to hospital after Whiskey Creek crash
WHISKEY CREEK — Two people were hurt in a serious two-vehicle crash in Whiskey Creek.
Coombs-Hilliers Volunteer Fire Department chief Aaron Poirier said the wreck happened just before 10 a.m. Tuesday. He said it appeared to involve two vehicles going in opposite directions on Hwy. 4 at Chatsworth Rd.
He said one vehicle clipped another and then veered off the road and hit a tree.
“One patient removed herself from the vehicle with the assistance of bystanders and the other patient was extracated by fire crews and BC Ambulance Service.”
