Two alleged fraudsters wanted by RCMP for skipping out on court
NANAIMO — Two alleged criminals are back on RCMP’s radar after failing to appear at court.
Warrants have been issued for 22-year-old Kayman Winter and 24-year-old Corey LeBlanc. They were to appear at Nanaimo Provincial Court on Jan. 10 to answer for using and possessing fake credit cards, but never arrived.
Both suspects were arrested for an incident back on Dec. 5.
According to Nanaimo RCMP, they tried to purchase more than $1,100 of merchandise at the Home Hardware in Brooks Landing Mall using a fake credit card and fled the scene after being discovered. Their license plate was recorded and police located the two a short time later.
