Margaretta Jean Thompson, July 28, 1937 – July 6, 2024

We were so lucky to have you as our Mom for just shy of 87 years around the sun. On July 6, 2024 you received your angel wings and joined our Dad Chuck Thompson, the love of your life. Mom was known for making all the young men look hot back in the day at Harvey Murphy Menswear. She loved her days sitting on the boat at Newcastle Island with all of their NYC friends. Mom bought her place in Cedar Grove and enjoyed 28 years building many long-term friendships and beautiful memories. Mom was blessed with great health and in her last week, she hit a couple of pubs up with family and friends, such a lucky lady. We celebrate the amazing woman you were and we miss you every day. Margie is survived by her three children Dan Thompson, Dave Thompson (Cheryl), Lisa Porteous Wong (Jason). Grandma to Brandon Thompson (Amanda), Candice Fraser (Adam), Dylan Thompson, Jason Thompson (Anna), Jordan Porteous (Hilary), Makayla Porteous (Kyle) and Jaiden Wong. GG to Addie, Hudson, Brie, Greyson, Levi and Cooper.
