John Fraser McLeod, May 11, 1952 – May 5, 2026

In Loving memory It is with deep love and full hearts that we announce the passing of John Fraser McLeod born May 11, 1952 on May 5, 2026 at 73 years of age. Born in New Liskeard Ontario to Lucille Marie and John Angus, he was the middle of seven children. John was predeceased by his Mother Lucille Marie Gauthier (2005), Father John Angus McLeod (1972), his loving wife of 23 years Wendy Kirkness (2017) and her Mother Mary Kirkness (2008), his eldest son, Jonathon Angus McLeod (2009), his nephew Mike (2007), and his niece Sheena (2023). Left behind to remember his beautiful soul are his daughter Maggie, son Lucas, and grandchildren Anna, Aidan, Draegan, Kate, Faya, Owen, Mya and Eli, as well as his brother Donald, sister Judy (Bob), sister Janie (Merlin), sister Elaine (Serge), brother Peter, sister Michelle (Calvin) and their children Tahnee, Sirje, Janna, Janie Lyn, Robin, Scott, Timothy, Alissa, Daniel, Craig, Anna Elizabeth, Katherine, Nigel, Nathan, Harvey, and many more family and friends that he considered and treated like family. John lived a life filled with kindness, laughter, and generosity and departed this adventure called life with a suitcase full of memories and a heart full of love. We invite everyone to join us for a celebration of his incredible journey Saturday June 6, 2026 at 11:30am Sands Funeral Chapel 1 Newcastle Avenue Nanaimo BC Refreshments and luncheon to follow on site.
