Bryan Frederick Goble, May 6, 1971 –  September 25, 2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Bryan Frederick Goble, age 55, on September 25, 2026. Bryan was born on May 6, 1971 in Calgary, AB to the late Carolyn Leach. His father was the late Phil Leach. Bryan spent most of his life in Vernon, BC but in more recent years moved to Nanaimo, BC to enjoy the coast. Bryan had an infectious smile and personality, which made him fast friends with everyone he met. He believed in the power of positivity and was always trying to brighten someone’s day, whether that was a family member, friend, or a stranger he’d met that day. One of Bryan’s passions was swimming. Bryan was a Master Swimmer, spending his early days as a member of the Vernon Kokanee Swim Club and later the Nanaimo Ebbtides. He also enjoyed fishing, camping, and attending festivals. Bryan leaves behind two wonderful children of whom he was immensely proud, Danica Goble and Rylan Goble, and their mother, Lisa Kenny. He also leaves behind two older brothers, Boyd Goble and Darryl Gaudry, and an older sister, Deanna Gaudry. Please join us for a Celebration of Life on November 8, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Chapel Street Hall (20 Chapel Street) in Nanaimo.
