NANAIMO — Commuters can expect some traffic headaches on Hammond Bay Rd. as the City gets underway with a utility project on Feb. 19.
Two areas of Hammond Bay will be impacted by the work, happening between Stephenson Point Rd. and Friar Tuck Way.
Work is expected to go from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays, with single-lane alternating traffic in effect after 9 a.m. There’s also the potential for night work.
Water shutdowns are also possible for local residents.
The project is expected to run through May.
