Nanaimo-Ladysmith schools closed Tuesday due to second intense snowfall

NANAIMO — Students will get a reprieve from school for the second day in a row.

The Nanaimo Ladysmith School District announced Tuesday, Feb. 12 will be a snow day, after students stayed home on Monday. 

Both times were due to intense afternoon and overnight snowfall. 

Up to 40 centimetres is expected to land on the Nanaimo area by Tuesday morning.
