A former Port Alberni woman was found guilty of stabbing a man at the FX Nightclub in December of 2023.
During the week-long BC Supreme Court trial, multiple witnesses testified that Sarah Gilles followed a man into the men’s washroom where she stabbed him twice before fleeing the nightclub.
The stabbing was called a “revenge attack”, but details are protected by a publication ban.
She was found guilty of aggravated assault and will remain on bail in Saskatchewan until her sentencing in a few months.
