B.C. RCMP warn of service issues at some detachments for non-emergency calls
SURREY — Mounties in British Columbia are warning the public of service issues for non-emergency phone lines at some detachments in the province.
A news release says the problem is under investigation and work is being done to restore service.
It says the issue is affecting the ability to pick up and transfer non-emergency calls.
RCMP say the affected detachments are Duncan, Ladysmith, Nanaimo, North Vancouver, Pemberton, Port Alberni, Sechelt, Squamish and Whistler.
