Man dead, another injured when shots were fired at a vehicle in Surrey, B.C.

SURREY — One man has died and another has been injured after someone fired shots into a vehicle in Surrey, B.C., Tuesday evening.

Police say they were called to the 6800 block of 148 Street just before 7 p.m., and found a man inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

The man died at the scene, while another man found nearby was hospitalized with minor injuries.

Homicide investigators have taken over the case.
