Rimmer leads Clippers in victory over Express
NANAIMO — The Clippers had one of their strongest performances of the season in an 8-3 victory over the Coquitlam Express.
Hayden Fechner set the tone 47 seconds into the contest with a goal and by the first intermission Nanaimo was up 4-1.
After Carson McGinley tied the game briefly at 1-1 on a man advantage, the Clippers got a power play goal of the their own from Charles Beland.
Will Subject on a penalty shot and Jack Rimmer with the game at four on four wrapped up the first period scoring.
