Nanaimo man wanted on numerous charges, including assault

NANAIMO — Mounties across Vancouver Island are on the lookout for a local man, wanted for a series of crimes over the last year.

Jamie Charles Routley, 36, is wanted on numerous Criminal Code charges, including assault, theft and indecent communications stemming from incidents in Nanaimo between September 2024 and October 2025.

He also faces a number of breaches of release orders from past convictions.

Routley was due in court on Nov. 13, however did not appear, and a warrant for his arrest was issued.

He is described as 5’8″ tall, 190 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes. Police note the picture attached to this report is recent.

Routley has a number of court appearances scheduled for early 2026.

The next scheduled court appearance for Routley is in late January.
