Phase two of Parksville waterfront walkway replacement getting underway
PARKSVILLE — The second phase of Parksville’s waterfront walkway replacement will start on Monday, Nov. 24.
Originally scheduled to take place in September, the City says it was delayed due to supply issues, which have now been resolved.
Replacing the half-kilometre aging boardwalk at the Parksville Community Park began in September and is expected to take about three years before being completed, the City said in a release.
The work starting on Monday is for the section from the Community Park to in front of Park Sands Beach Resort, and is expected to take about one month to complete.
