Per Zetterberg, December 24, 1944 – August 2, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Per Inge Zetterberg on August 2nd, 2025. Per immigrated to Vancouver, BC, Canada from Sweden in 1968 with his first wife, Margret. They forged a new life and eventually made Nanaimo, BC home where he lived until his death. Per was a happy, kind man who loved to meet people, chat and drink coffee. You would often find him at his local Tim Hortons or walking along the Nanaimo waterfront with an ice cream in hand. Per also loved to meet with his friends at the local pub to have a beer and eat wings. Per loved to spend his time outdoors camping and hunting, he would go for an annual hunting trip every year with a good friend looking for a moose! Per loved his family deeply and is survived by his children Emily, Lisa, Per and Patrick and his many grandchildren Wynn, Dean, Kingston, Malena, Mattias, Michael and Nicholas. His great-grandchildren Roarke, Trixie, Sandler and Cohen. In Sweden he is survived by his brother Rolf and sister Anne-Charlotte and their families.
