Lori Antifave, February 2, 1970 – July 18, 2025
We are sad to announce the sudden passing of Lori Antifave. Predeceased by her husband Bob Antifave in 2012, she leaves behind their three sons Cameron, Spencer, and Adrian who will forever miss her. Lori was born in Nanaimo, and spent most of her life there, working as a high school teacher, and raising her family. Lori loved spending time outdoors walking her dogs and chatting to everyone she crossed paths with. She was famous for her story telling abilities and always left people laughing and smiling. Lori was most proud of being a Mom and often referred to it as the best, and most important job in the world. After her husband’s passing, Lori learned to hunt, fish, drive a boat, back up a trailer, and many other activities, to keep the boys doing what they would have been doing with their Dad. She said the best moments in her life were raising and spending time with her children. Lori’s always said, “You’re only as interesting as the things you do,” and always encouraged anyone she crossed paths with to do interesting things. She will be deeply missed, but her values will live on by those she left behind. Lori’s celebration of life will be at the Costin Hall in Lantzville on August 29th at 2:30pm, and everyone who knew and loved Lori is welcome. Forever loved, always remembered.
