Group of egg-laying hens ready to go at the Nanaimo SPCA

NANAIMO — There’s a lovely group of hens available for adoption at the Nanaimo SPCA, and they’re still well into their egg-laying season.

This group of 20 hens are very friendly, living an enjoyable life as a group.

They’re available for adoption together or in smaller groups depending on how many you’re legally allowed to care for.

You can submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.
