Three cuddly guinea pigs hoping to squeak their way into a forever home

NANAIMO — Three adorable guinea pigs are up for adoption at the Nanaimo SPCA, and they can barely contain their squeals of excitement.

Cookie, Julien, and Pumpkin are three male guinea pigs who form a cute little posse while also preferring their own shelter safe-spaces.

Cookie and Pumpkin are three years old while Julien is only two, with black-and-white colouring which gives him the appearance of a crown, hence the nickname, King Julien.

You can submit an application online and book an appointment if it’s a match, or stop by their Nanaimo location Tuesday-Sunday from noon until 4 p.m.
