Clippers lose 3-1 in Langley to fall behind in opening round series
NANAIMO — The Clippers got off to a great start in Game 3 of the playoffs against Langley but couldn’t sustain it through 60 minutes.
Brody Waters scored on a power play tip in eight minutes into the contest and Nanaimo led 1-0 at the first intermission.
Nanaimo also outshot the Rivermen 16-6 in the period.
Langley vaulted into the lead thanks to a pair of man advantage goals in the middle frame.
