Saskatchewan man accused of abducting daughter arrested in British Columbia
REGINA — RCMP say a Saskatchewan man accused of having abducted his seven-year-old daughter has been arrested in British Columbia.
Police say the girl has been found safe and will be returned to her mother in Regina.
Last month, police issued a Canada-wide warrant for the arrest of Michael Gordon Jackson and charged him with abduction in contravention of a custody or parenting order.
During a news conference in Regina, Sgt. Daryl Milo said Jackson was arrested in Vernon, B.C.
