Clippers record first shutout of the year in 7-0 victory over Express
COQUITLAM — The Clippers were firing on all cylinders in a 7-0 road win to start 2022.
Nine different players registered a point against the Express, led by Sean Donaldson with two goals and an assist and Charles Tardif with a pair of goals.
Cooper Black made 20 stops for his first shutout in the BCHL and earned his 16th win to sit in a tie for first place in victories by a goaltender.
The game was 1-0 after 20 minutes thank to a Charles Tardif rebound goal.
