Overnight closures on Malahat Hwy. ended
NANAIMO — Late night traffic on the Malahat Hwy. is resuming earlier than expected.
The province announced Thursday, Nov. 18 the scheduled five to six days of closures between 6 p.m. and 6 a.m. would no longer be required.
A release said repairs have “progressed well and no further overnight closures are needed.”
The road is still under repair following extensive rainfall and subsequent flooding over the weekend and into Monday, Nov. 15.
