Island Health’s active COVID-19 case count continues slide down
NANAIMO — There continues to be fewer active COVID-19 cases throughout Island Health.
Data from the health authority showed 413 active cases as of Wednesday, Oct. 20, a drop of 20 from the day prior.
Central Vancouver Island remained the same over the last 24 hours, with 205 active. The south Island has 172 with the remaining 36 in the north.
Island Health reported 54 new cases Wednesday, including 32 in the central Island.
