NANAIMO — Here’s a pet you don’t see every day.

HayHay is a rooster available for adoption from the Nanaimo SPCA.

He’s more social than your average rooster and will make an excellent companion for someone inside their house.

It’s unknown how well HayHay will do observing farm animals outside.

He’s very social and can even be picked up and carried around like a much more docile animal.
