John Barsby Secondary School upgraded to COVID-19 cluster after more exposures

NANAIMO — The second COVID-19 cluster in a Nanaimo school this week has been confirmed.

The Nanaimo-Ladysmith School District reporting a new exposure event at John Barsby on Nov. 9 and Nov. 10., in addition to the first exposure event on Nov. 6.

A cluster is defined by two confirmed cases at a facility within a two week period.

A cluster was also declared earlier this week at Dover Bay Secondary School.
