Violent, repeat offender accused of stabbing man in Parksville
PARKSVILLE — A man well known to police was arrested after allegedly stabbing a man in the woods in the north end of Parksville.
Hudson David Klassen, 28, was arrested without incident on Aug. 10 after a man came to the Oceanside RCMP detachment for medical attention, claiming he had been stabbed in the shoulder.
Through information provided by the victim, officers arrested Klassen in a wooded area near Wembley Mall. The area is a popular spot where homeless people camp and is where the alleged stabbing occurred.
Klassen was held overnight and appeared in court on Tuesday, Aug. 11 where he is facing charges related to the stabbing, as well as breaching previous probation conditions.
