Aggressive man accused of assaulting seniors in Parksville

PARKSVILLE — Oceanside RCMP arrested a man after a he became aggressive and allegedly assaulted a pair of seniors while at a liquor store in north Parksville.

Police said the man became agitated inside the BC Liquor Store at Wembley Mall around 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13.

Multiple 911 calls suggested the 40-year-old man was yelling and kicking display shelves before leaving the store and running into the parking lot.

A release from Oceanside RCMP said the man then allegedly shoved two elderly men in an unprovoked incident in the parking lot.
