Obituary
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Peggy. She was predeceased by her husband, Archie Bertram, her daughter, Lynn Bouvier, her sister, Audrey Wallington and her brothers, Gordon and Lloyd Brown. Peggy is survived by her son Larry(Barb) Evans of Ladner, BC and her daughter Janalee Deline of Parksville, BC. She also leaves behind 7 grandchildren and was GG to 7 great-grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her sister Phyllis (Fred) Stone of Montrose, BC and by her many nieces & nephews. Also mourning the loss will be her “Island Kids”, Wayne (Arlene) Brown and Brian Bertram.
Peggy was born in Plumas, MB, raised in Maple Creek, SK and spent some years in Flin Flon, MB raising her family. Peggy moved to the West Coast mainland in 1967. Peggy and Archie met as “snowbirds” and married in Yuma and made their home together in Whiskey Creek (Qualicum Beach), BC. They moved to Parksville in 2007 and enjoyed an active life with friends and family. Peggy was an avid card player and enjoyed her membership at RCL# 76 playing crib, whist and many new versions of the games.
The family would like to sincerely thank the staff of Trillium Lodge in Parksville for the care and support they provided during Peggy’s brief stay and to the many caregivers who assisted in keeping Peg in her home as long as possible.
