BC Ferries cancel afternoon sailings on all Island to Mainland routes

NANAIMO — BC Ferries have cancelled a large number of Island to mainland sailings in anticipation of high winds in the region.

The company has cancelled sailings between Departure Bay and Horseshoe Bay, along with Tsawwassen to Duke Point from 3:00 p.m. onwards on Wednesday, Jan. 15.

Cancelled sailings on the Tsawwassen to Duke Point route include:

  • 3:15 pm departing Duke Point
  • 5:45 pm departing Tsawwassen
  • 8:15 pm departing Duke Point
  • 10:45 pm departing Tsawwassen
