December 22, 1927 ~ November 1, 2019 (age 91)
Predeceased by his wife, Laura; parents, Fred and Martha; siblings,Tony, John, Sam, Jim, Annie and Margaret.
He left behind a family who loved him dearly. Survived by daughters, Laureen (Howie) and Louise (Chris); grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as siblings, Tina, Irene, Fred, Polly, Marie (Gino), and Fanny (Jim). Also numerous nieces and nephews.
Dad worked for many years at Rayner & Bracht and farmed all his life with his grandson, Tyler always there to help. Growing up he enjoyed the rodeo circuit with his brother, Fred and exercised horses at a race track. As a young man he traveled by horse from Port Alberni to the Gang Ranch in Northern BC for employment. Dad was an inventor who created many one of a kind pieces of machinery and tools using only what he had on the farm. He was a smart man who lived a simple life.
A Memorial Tea will be held in his honour from 11:30 to 1:30 on Sunday, November 17th, 2019 at Beaver Creek Community Hall. Please bring your special memories and, if you wish, we can have them read for you.
