JUNE 19, 1926 ~ OCTOBER 23, 2018 (AGE 92)

Shiu King passed away peacefully at West Coast General Hospital in Port Alberni, with her husband by her side and surrounded by loved ones. She is survived by her loving husband of for 72 years, Bun Loon Leung; twin brother, Kam Chuen Lam (Sau Wan) of Hong Kong; sons,  Raymond (Lili), David-predeceased (Mary), Andy (Esther), Joe (Sophie), and Michael (Margaret); daughters:  Mabel (Kwok Keung), Susanna (Joe Eng); grandchildren, Diana, Carl, Harvey (Joyce), Michele, Rebecca, Keith, Jeffrey (Cindy), Nicholas, Steven, Jessica, Jennifer, Melissa, Emily, and Yolanda; as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Hong Kong.

A public viewing will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 at 11:00 am at Yates Memorial Services, 1000 Allsbrook Road in Parksville, BC followed by a private witness cremation.  

A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 5, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at The Hospitality Inn, 3835 Redford Street in Port Alberni, BC. Everyone is welcome to join us in sharing food and memories.

Interment will take place at 1:00 pm on  Wednesday, November 7th at the Alberni Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Port Alberni, BC.
