More people using car seats safely at Oceanside clinic

Oceanside RCMP are encouraged by the results of a child car seat clinic on the weekend.

The detachment reports 79 children in car seats were checked on Sunday at the Community Park and note five times more children were riding safer than previous checks.

Some families needed additional help on how to install seats correctly or were given advice on the right type of restraint for their child.
