$10K worth of tools stolen after thieves smash through wall of Parksville store
PARKSVILLE — Oceanside RCMP hope the public can help them track down the criminals behind a large-scale tool heist in Parksville.
Cpl. Jesse Foreman said the Albertsons Home Centre on Franklin’s Gull Rd. in the Parksville Industrial Park was broken into sometime between 3 p.m. on April 14 and the early morning of April 15.
Foreman said about $10,000 worth of tools, including drills, cicular saws and batteries were taken.
“This is a large cache of tools and they’re Makita brand so they’re pretty unique with their teal colour. We’re hoping somebody sees or knows of something and can give us a tip on this.”
