Clippers earn a single point in 4-3 OT loss to Bulldogs
PORT ALBERNI — The Clippers kept having to chase the game on Wednesday night in Port Alberni, but they did come up with a single point against the Bulldogs.
Nanaimo had a strong first period but a couple of bad breaks in the final five minutes put them behind the eight ball.
A seeing-eye shot from Trevor Cosgrove found the back of the net, and in the final minute a crazy bounce ended up going behind Austin Roden on a goal credited to Alex MacDonald.
In the second period the Clippers came out flying, even though they had an early penalty.
