Clippers season ends in Powell River with 6-4 loss

NANAIMO – The Clippers post season run finished with a 6-4 loss against the Powell River Kings on Saturday.
It was a seesaw game that the Clippers led 3-1 and 4-2, but a strong third period push from the Kings gave them the win.
For the second game in a row Carter Turnbull scored the winning goal late in regulation time for Powell River.
The Game 6 scorers for Nanaimo were Jordan Wharrie, Parker Colley, Cal Babych, and Josh Bourne.
