Clippers shut down in Langley
LANGLEY — The Clippers led 1-0 for most of the first 35 minutes against Langley but then ran into an avalanche of Rivermen goals.
Landon Pappas opened the scoring with a power play marker three and a half minutes into the contest but Langley scored three times in the final four minutes of the middle period to take control of the game.
Dmitrii Nazarov, Darius Bachler and Jak Birch notched quick tallies on Eliot Seguin-Lescarbeau with both Nazarov and Birch getting their first goals of the season.
Andreas Mikrogiannakis added a dazzling breakaway goal early in the third period to give the Rivermen an insurmountable lead.
