Nanaimo Mounties seek man believed to be actively evading arrest

NANAIMO — Local Mounties are continuing their months-long search for a man wanted on break and enter charges.

Riley David Quin, 45, is wanted in connection with a December 2022 break and enter at Anchor Family Medicine on Waddington Rd., where it’s alleged Quin stole several items.

A warrant for his arrest was issued in May 2025, however, police say they’ve yet to locate him.

“[The initial call for the public’s help] did not generate any substantive leads and Quin was not located,” a statement from the detachment reads. “Investigators believe Quin is in the Nanaimo area and is taking measures to actively evade arrest.”

Quin is described as 5’10” tall, 150 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

He has a tattoo on his left wrist with the characters “TJPW 020518”, as well as “PRIDE” tattooed on his upper right arm.

Police note the picture provided is roughly three years old.

Anyone with information on Quin’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345, referencing file number 2022-44079.
