NANAIMO –  Heading into winter housing markets remain steady, bolstering confidence

In November, 73 single-family homes sold in Nanaimo, down eighteen per cent from the October and up seven per cent over the previous year. Active listings of single-family homes on the Mid-Island were 1,121 in November, on par with the previous year.

The average sale price for a single-family home in Nanaimo1121 was $873,362 in November, up three per cent over the previous month, and on par with November 2024.

• Nanaimo’s benchmark sits at $801,900, on par with last month and last year.
• Campbell River’s benchmark price for single-family homes was $670,400, down three per cent from the previous year.
• Comox Valley’s benchmark price is on par with last year’s price and sits at $851,000.
• Cowichan Valley reported a benchmark price of $766,800, on par with November 2024.
• The Parksville-Qualicum area is five per cent above last year at a benchmark price of $920,800
• Port Alberni’s benchmark sits at $517,600, which is four per cent above last year’s number.
• The North Island area is three per cent above last year at a benchmark price of $441,900.
