NANAIMO –  Nanaimo’s Fall housing market defined by balanced conditions

In October, 89 single-family homes sold in Nanaimo, up twenty per cent from the September and on par with the previous year. Active listings of single-family homes on the Mid-Island were 1,224 in October, down nine per cent from the previous year.

The average sale price for a single-family home in Nanaimo was $846,342 in October, up five per cent over the previous month, and on par with October 2024.

• Nanaimo’s benchmark sits at $813,900, on par with last month and last year.
• Campbell River’s benchmark price for single-family homes was $704,200, on par with the previous year.
• Comox Valley’s benchmark price is on par with last year’s price and sits at $859,100.
• Cowichan Valley reported a benchmark price of $803,700, four per cent above October 2024.
• The Parksville-Qualicum area is on par with last year at a benchmark price of $920,700
• Port Alberni’s benchmark sits at $521,000, which is on par with last year’s number.
• The North Island area is eight per cent above last year at a benchmark price of $464,600.
