Mosaic has released the results of their Forest Management survey launched earlier this year.

The company says they received an overwhelming 7,600 responses in just 23 days from people voicing concerns about locked gates and recreational access.

Mosaic’s President & CEO Duncan Davies said the message was clear, that communities value access to the outdoors and want more and better opportunities to do so.

He said the overwhelming response, combined with the thoughtful solutions presented shows the need to get solutions right.

The company has hired an external consultant to help balance recreational desires with operational realities, and environmental protection.
